New Zealand School of Art and Fashion was established in 2001. Today the academy offers both short and diploma courses in sewing and fashion design with pathways to Bachelor of Fashion at the Southern Institute of Technology (SIT). The school provides practical and hands-on training in modern, well-equipped and spacious classrooms. Classes are deliberately kept to a maximum of 18 students to encourage interaction with school’s excellent industry experienced tutors. Learners receive very strong support and guidance on business and career development. Each month the provider offers an optional weekend excursion allowing international students to experience what New Zealand has to offer.
