LSI’s Auckland campus is one of a network of language schools operating across Europe, in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada and Australia. The company has been operating for approximately 50 years and is owned by a single director. The school has an average of 25 nationalities studying there, including students from Brazil, Columbia, Japan, Korea, Thailand and Switzerland​. Language Studies International is located right in the centre of Auckland, close to cafes, restaurants and transport links. The language school provides an extremely comfortable environment. LSI bright and airy classrooms overlook the palm trees in Myers Park and student facilities include wireless internet, a computer room with televisions and DVDs, a prayer room, a small library and a student lounge with a fridge, microwave and hot drinks machine. LSI teaches general ESL programmes, a variety of exam preparation courses, such as TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, Cambridge English Language Assessment as well as specialised courses such as English for Pilots and Nurses.
