Algonquin Careers Academy

Algonquin Careers Academy is a Canadian-owned private Career College located in Mississauga and Ottawa, Ontario. Since its inception in 1981, Algonquin Academy has provided career training diplomas, certificates, and continuing education programmes. Programming is designed to ensure students with quality and industry-specific career training. The Academy is home to both domestic and international students.

Algonquin Career Academy has an excellent selection of career-focused diploma programmes. All programmes are provided with in-class education and hands-on training. Most programmes are available as co-op placement that allow students to meet prospective employers and build their career pathways. Students will study in a friendly environment with small class sizes. The staff is a dedicated academic team that will prepare students for employment and helps to achieve student’s goals.

Students can choose desired programmes from healthcare, business, law, and online learning programmes. In addition, career Service works to help students to prepare documents for new job applications.

Campuses

Ottawa Campus

The campus is located in south-central Ottawa at the corner of Bank Street and Walkley Road. There is easy access to Ottawa bus services on the main arteries of Bank and Walkley and at Walkley Station on the Transitway. Plenty of free parking is available around the campus. Many eating options are close to the campus, including restaurants, fast food outlets, groceries, and Tim Hortons.

Mississauga

The Academy is located at the corner of Dundas and Hurontario in Mississauga. The campus is close to the Clarkson GO station, so students have an easy way to get to the Academy. Free parking is available. The campus occupies the top floor of the Algonquin Careers academy building. Academy’s facilities include five classrooms, two labs, and a student lounge. The staff is friendly and welcoming to help students to achieve their career goals.
