There are no mandatory prerequisites for this qualification. Learners enrolling are expected to hold the New Zealand Certificate in Computing (User Fundamentals) (Level 2) [Ref: 2591], or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience. International students must have an appropriate level of English proficiency for the level at which they intend to study. Details of English language entry requirements are contained in the NZQF Programme Approval and Accreditation Rules 2013 (Appendix 2). E.g. IELTS Academic score of 5, with no band score lower than 5; New Zealand Certificate in English Language (General, Workplace, or Academic) (Level 3) [Ref: 1882].
