Programme overview

Have you been on the tools for years? Do you know the construction sector inside and out and are you ready to take that next step in your career? Perhaps the construction sector is in your blood and you want to take more of a lead or project management role. The New Zealand Diploma in Construction (Construction Management/Quantity Surveying) will give you the practical skills and knowledge to take that next step. You will gain the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to give your employer or client the confidence that their residential or commercial construction project is in competent hands and will be effectively planned, organised and delivered on budget according to NZ legislation, codes of practice and standard.

If you’re already working in the residential or commercial construction sector and you want to take on more responsibility and challenge, or maybe you want more formal acknowledgement and recognition of your existing skill base, then this course is for you. Alternatively, you could be a school leaver with a passion for the sector and wanting to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the wide range of roles and opportunities available.
