This Competency Assessment Programme (CAP) enables registered nurses to meet the competence requirements of the Nursing Council of New Zealand. Graduates can apply to the Nursing Council of New Zealand for a New Zealand Registered Nurse Practising Certificate, and can work in all healthcare settings.
This flexible course consists of 2 weeks theory and up to 6 weeks clinical. Students must attend class for 2 compulsory days in the 2 week theory component.
